Favorite Mermaid Images of 2015
A little idea became a big project. I would collect our favorite images of the mermaid this year. And, as with many projects, I found surprises. And almost gave up. But I'm so glad that I persevered. We had such adventures this year!

Delightful to see the year all brought together in one collection. Even more delightful to see how we have collected over a hundred images in her gallery. What magic!
We cannot wait for underwater (and above water) images in 2016.
In case you are interested, Anika loves FinFun Mermaid tails. They are a flipper underneath a cover that feels like swimming suit fabric. She has one flipper and the Rio Red and Rainbow Reef colors. Our friends have the Arctic Blue, Aussie Green, and Barracuda Black colors. You can find all of the colors here. At first, I thought the monofin and cover was quite an investment- she helped with her birthday and chore savings- but then I realized we go through quite a few inflatable toys every summer. And the tail is way more fun than air mattresses :)
And she convinced me with stories of how she could be a Mermaid Model and we could create a series of whimsical images, and "Wouldn't that be amazing, Mom?"
Why, yes. Amazing indeed :)
