Favorite Photos of 2013

What a simple thing, I thought, choosing a few favorite photos from the year. And then I kept adding more and more... What a collection! And what a journey. All these moments rush right back. A year feels small. One day after another and nothing that big happened (aside from the book (yay!). Until I see the images again. Smiles and fun. Adventures and laughter.

This was the year that Ian started kindergarten. He learned to jump off the diving board. And swim. And ride a bike!

Anika went sailing with her class. She won Best of Show at the county fair for her Alice and Bunny costume. She danced as a soldier and faery in the Nutcracker. She stepped into that delightfully strange world we call Tween :). I see her as between in all the best ways. Still in love with childhood and imagination. With growing skills and curiosity, ready to explore what comes next.

We are all excited for what comes next!

Looking back helped me appreciate the little things all over again. What a magical year. Thank you for the lovely memories, 2013!

Wishing you much joy for the new year!
