Giovanni's birthday was yesterday! Anika really really wanted to get him a remote control car. So we picked up this war-machine modeled from the Halo video games. What Dad wouldn't want his own remonte control warthog?

Anika was stoked!  She and Ian were both so excited about Daddy's big truck.  Ian wanted to play with it all day.  But we waited until Daddy got home.

Good thing, too, because after thirty seconds of driving, the transmission tore up and the whole thing died.  NOT recommended.  Anika was very sad.  We'll return it and try for a different new remote-control something.

Every Dad needs a toy or two on his birthday :)
