Tale of Snow Dark

Once a dark Snow White (would that be Dark White?) Or Snow Dark?) tasted of a poisened apple. She tumbled down down down into Fairyland, where she met the twins and other lost girls. They wandered toward a Tea Party where the tea was steeped with strychnine and the macaroons tasted like midnight.

The Queen chose from among them to dance at the Ball that night. Clouds scattered across the sky while Snow’s dark heart beat in tune with the rising darkness. She realized that she hadn’t fallen into a nightmare Fairyland, she had flown into a land where she could be herself without apology. She discovered her true self. She was stronger than ever. Mightier than ever. She hadn’t fallen asleep when she bit into the apple. She woke up. Seized her power. And she would never ever sleep again.

Our photo-story photoshoot was coordinated by the talents of Bri Mcki Photography, who specializes in Couture Portraiture. She created the scene, costumes, and props (including aging the dolls with strong tea). I took these photos of Anika Vodicka. Treats are by the Three Gingers Baking Company. The day was an adventure with memorable images to treasure :)
